Terms of Service

Booking terms for airport transfer and passenger transport.

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service govern the relationship between Gourmandia s.r.o. (Company ID: 53 344 308, the "Provider") and the customer who orders a passenger transport / airport transfer service (the "Customer").

2. Subject of the service

The service is passenger transport by the Provider's vehicle at the agreed time, on the agreed route and for the agreed price (taxi service under Act No. 56/2012 Coll. of Slovakia on Road Transport).

3. Order and conclusion of contract

  • Bookings can be placed online (form), by phone or e-mail.
  • The contract is concluded by confirmation of the order by the Provider (e-mail or SMS).
  • The Customer is required to provide truthful and complete information (contact, time, location, number of passengers).

4. Price and payment

  • Prices are fixed according to the valid price list or an individual quote.
  • The price is per vehicle, not per person.
  • Payment can be made in cash, by card or by bank transfer (B2B invoice).
  • A card transaction fee may apply as listed in the price list.

If the Provider cancels (technical failure, force majeure), the full amount paid will be refunded.

6. Customer rights and obligations

  • be on time at the agreed pick-up location,
  • follow safety instructions (seat belts, child seats),
  • not soil the vehicle (a fee per the price list applies).

7. Provider rights and obligations

  • provide a clean and technically fit vehicle,
  • keep the agreed time and route,
  • in case of force majeure or unforeseeable obstacle, inform the customer without delay.

8. Complaints

Complaints can be submitted in writing to info@taxia.sk within 30 days of the service. We respond within 30 days.

9. Alternative dispute resolution

A consumer Customer has the right to contact an alternative dispute resolution body (e.g. Slovak Trade Inspection, soi.sk) or use the European ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).

10. Final provisions

  • Matters not regulated herein are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, in particular the Civil Code and Act No. 56/2012 Coll.
  • The Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms; the version valid at the time of the order applies.
